On weekdays, for lunch, enjoy a traditional Alentejo meal served in the rustic and picturesque canteen “Cabana dos Bois.” In a warm and welcoming atmosphere with wooden tables and benches, we offer traditional Alentejo dishes.
All ingredients are fresh, grown, and raised by us, following sustainable agroecological practices. Acorn is a gastronomic symbol of the Montado, with a history as long as human presence in the region.
The dishes are full of flavor, reflecting the true essence of the region’s ancestral cuisine.

Walking Basket: An individual snack consisting of a 0.5 L bottle of water, a piece of acorn bread, 75 g of walnut kernels, a delicious seasonal fruit, and the choice of acorn cookies or a vegetable pastry.
Picnic Basket: Perfect for enjoying with good company. Designed for two people, it includes a 0.75 L bottle of Amoreira da Torre wine or a 1 L bottle of Freixo do Meio grape juice, mushrooms/cheese/others (subject to availability), two chard pastries, a 100 g pack of Alentejo toasts or acorn toasts, two pieces of fresh seasonal fruit, two slices of acorn brownie, and a 100 g acorn pâté.
With these two options, we ensure memorable moments in nature, full of flavor and authenticity. Make the most of your visit with a meal that matches the beauty surrounding you.

The canteen “Cabana dos Bois” is open for special occasions, offering the option to reserve lunches for groups, whether for companies, families, friends, or any other type of gathering.
