This is where your day with us begins. You will be welcomed with an acorn infusion, a warm drink exclusive to Montado do Freixo do Meio.

While enjoying your drink, you can browse and purchase some of the available products, as well as reserve your traditional Alentejo bread or acorn bread, baked in a wood-fired oven (available at noon).

Here, you can take a stroll through the various areas of Monte do Freixo do Meio, allowing you to observe traditional architecture, local vegetation, key food processing areas, organic agricultural production sites, diverse agroforestry, and other points of interest.

Accompanied by Alfredo Sendim, you will explore the reality of the Protected Landscape of Montado do Freixo do Meio and agroecological production. Topics such as the Ethics of Agroecology, Agroforestry, Acorns, Ecosystem Conservation and Regeneration, and adaptation to climate change, among others, will be addressed.
