Guided Tour “Life in the Montado”

The “Life in the Montado” tour offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of our activities, with a particular focus on agroecological practices and strategies for tackling climate change. Throughout the experience, participants will explore the concept of the montado, the importance of cork, the use of acorns for human consumption, and other relevant topics.

Guided by a member of the Saberes do Freixo project, visitors will gain detailed insight into the Protected Area of the Montado of Freixo do Meio, as well as the agroecological production practices implemented on site. Key topics covered include:
