The self-guided tour of Monte do Freixo do Meio offers visitors the freedom to explore the Alentejo agricultural estate and its surroundings at their own pace, experiencing the daily life of a family-run farm that blends tradition with innovation.
During the visit, you’ll have the chance to see traditional architecture, local vegetation, key food processing areas, organic agropecultural production sites, various stages of agroforestry, and other points of interest. Feel free to explore and ask any questions you may have.
A map provided at the Welcome Center outlines the areas accessible during this visit. Please note that this does not include access to the agro-silvo-pastoral and nature conservation zones within the Protected Landscape of Montado.
Free for children up to 12 years old when accompanied by parents.
Upon arrival and departure, please proceed to the Welcome Center for check-in and check-out.
