The walk is an activity primarily aimed at those who wish to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the Protected Area of Montado do Freixo do Meio, offering a unique opportunity to explore this landscape at a relaxed pace. This tour lasts approximately 90 minutes, during which participants can cover up to six kilometers. The route, marked by gentle slopes, follows trails winding through stunning scenery, revealing impressive views and details of the local flora and fauna.
These moments provide a rich and educational connection with the environment, highlighting the beauty of the “montado” with its characteristic cork and holm oak trees. Participants will also have the chance to discover the most picturesque and charming spots of the protected area, which stands out for its remarkable biological and landscape diversity.
Free for children up to 12 years old when accompanied by parents.
